One Objective of every tropical fish hobbyist is to imitate the natural environment in a home aquarium. A natural environment for most if not all tropical fish includes live plants. This would also be call a balanced aquarium since the Fish and Plants help each other. Natural plants consume nitrogenous waste produced buy the fish and convert them into nutrients to help the plants grow. Fish require oxygen witch plants release and plants require carbon dioxide with the fish release.
